Master Bathroom Complete Remodel

Out of our whole house, I think this room has seen one of the biggest transformations, and that's saying something! When we bought the house, the bathroom had cracking pink tile with gross grout, a pink cast iron tub, almond-colored pedestal sink that you pretty much run into when you walk in, gross linoleum, and prickly popcorn walls. Just. Gross.

When we finally remodeled the guest bathroom, I stopped using our master bath altogether because it was just too gross for me. That meant it was definitely time for us to remodel the bathroom as we were pretty much down to one bathroom at that point.

Here are some before photos to set the scene :)

With the new bathroom, we knew we wanted to put in an inset vanity so we could take back that much-needed space. In order to do that, we had to take some space away from our walk-in closet and ended up having the exact amount of space we needed to make this happen.

Here is the design inspiration I made to help guide our design decisions throughout the process.

I really wanted this bathroom to feel classy, a little fancy, but also lived in and welcoming.

Check out some of the photos of the demo process below! And we found another 'gem' under the tub...there have been so many gems found in the demo process in the house, we never know what will turn up next!

And finally...the finished bathroom!
